Astrosoniq playing South Of Mainstream
Spacerockers Astrosoniq are one of the headliners of the
South Of Mainstream Festival which takes place on September 3rd and September 4th near Brandenburg(Berlin).
Astrosoniq will share the stage with Italian drone masters Ufomammut and the legendary Wino on the outdoor stage September 4th.

German Jazz-zoom-rockers Beehoover will hit the stage on Friday September 3rd in Plein79 in Den Bosch.

Thursday August 26th Astrosoniq will play the 'Evil Spells' night in the Garage venue during the annual Hole in the Sky Festival in Bergen.

Dÿse coming to Holland
The German powerduo Dÿse is finally coming again to Holland to play a few more gigs to promote their devastating album
'Lieder Sind Brüder der Revolution'.
With their weird mix of Sepultura heaviness, Shellac-hooks and Primus-like humour these two 'Ossies' have alreday played more than 300 gigs in Europe. Loud, freaky, funny...but also aggressive.

In August The Devil's Blood is going to have 3 more 'Rituals' in Germany.
Saturday August 7th they are headling the WET Stage of the world's biggest metal event: Wacken Open Air near Hamburg.
Thursday August 12th they hit the stage at the big black and deathmetal festival Party San Open Air in Bad Berka (in eastern Germany)
Last but not least TDB is performing Thursday August 19th at the Summerbreeze Open Air in Dinkelsbühl in the south of Germany.

It's a while ago that our satanic rockers played in their homeland, but finally Friday July 16th the Devil's Blood will bring their 'ritual' to the Zwarte Cross Festival in Lichtenvoorde. Together with Cirrha Niva, God Dethroned and headliner My Dying Bride they share the Aardschok stage at the 'metalweide'. Other bands performing @ Zwarte Cross are
Volbeat and Triggerfinger.

And yep...again TDB has to travel a few miles to conquer 2 new territories. This time the rituals will take place on Thursday July 8th
in Dynamo Werk 21 in Zürich and Friday July 9th the Devil's Blood is headlining the second stage at MetalCamp in Tolmin Slovenia.

Friday June 25th Dutch hottest rockin' Newcomer of 2009,
Their show starts at 14:45 in the Metaldome clubstage which has a capacity of 5000 people. VJ Stalker will do a live-videoshow with them and again the 'angels choir' is backing them up.
Apart from The Devil's Blood, Devin Townshend, Sepultura and Nile will perform that same day in the Metaldome as well.

Italian grandmasters of avantgarde-metal will play an exlusive show on Saturday June 5th in dB's in Utrecht.

Danish psychedelic garagerockers Baby Woodrose, the band around charismatic guitarist/vocalist/composer Lorenzo Woodrose will perform 4 shows in the Netherlands. The annual RockHard Festival, organised by German's no.1 metalmagazine RockHard Mag., will again be held in the beautiful Amphitheater of Gelsenkirchen. This year the organistion definitely wanted The Devil's Blood, who were Newcomer of the Year in the magazine, to perform at this 3-days Festival.
Of course The Devil's Blood accepted the offer to play the headliner spot in the dark and as a big thank you to Götz and RH Crew they decide to make it a very special show including a brandnew video show made by Jerome Siegelaer a.k.a. VJ Stalker and with 3 backing vocalists who will form the choir. Friday May 21st their performance starts @ 21:30 and lasts till 23:00. This year's line up includes well known bands such as Kreator, Accept, Katatonia, rage and many more.

Rumanian atmospheric black metallers of Negura Bunget have just released a new album called: Virstele Pamantului.
According German, UK and Dutch press definitely one of the highlights in progressive BM history.
No silly folk tunes for drunk people, but deep, dark, sophisticated songs full of deep historian conscience.
Sunday May 9th the band will perform in Baroeg-Rotterdam

Hváll wrote us "This weekend we were gathered in the good old "Fjøsen" (our rehearsal place from the Ulcus & Windir days). It was a great atmosphere to rehearse there again, and especially with all the stuff we are working with at the moment, everything from new line up, new album and the upcoming special shows."
About the shows with a special guest: "We have been rehearsing on a special live set. We will do 3 selected shows this spring where we will be joined by a special guest for a few extra songs. The special guest is Vegard Bakken, brother of Terje Valfar Bakken. This will be full Vreid concerts plus that we will play a couple of Windir songs with Vegard doing the vocals on these songs."
"This is something we have considered for quite some time. The loss of our brother & closest friend back in 2004 is something that has had a major impact on our lives, and is always affecting us both as persons and musicians. We have strong relationship with Vegard, and the music & spirit of Windir is something that unify us. We all grew up together and there is a bond between us, Vegard & Terje that never will be broken."

The Devil's Blood invading the UK
Finally the occult rockers of The Devil's Blood will hit the stage in London. The debut album 'The Time Of No Time evermore' got receently raving reviews in British magazines like Terrorizer, Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Classic Rock.
DJ Walter H. Roadburn is supporting the band with an eclectic set of old school and vintage hardrock and heavy metal.

First Dutch ULVER Show !
Norwegian founders of atmospheric black metal Ulver will perform a special show in the main room of 013 in Tilburg Friday February 12th.
It's going to be the first time in 16 years this legendary Norwgian cult band will hit the stage in the Netherlands. In the last decade the band focused on more ambient and avantgarde music like e.g. COIL.
Support will be Void Ov Voices, the solo-vocal project of Attilla Csihar (SunnO)) & Mayhem).

Astrosoniq: 10th Anniversary with new album!
Yep, it took a while but finally the new album of Astrosoniq is finished and again The Wizards from Oss will prove the world that heavy, psychedelic rock definitely doesn't have to sound like a typical 70's clone.
The first review of 'Quadrant' the 5th release of the band in 10 years, album makes it very clear the band is pushing the boundaries of the genre to new hights. Check the first review here.
'Quadrant' appears October 9th in the Benelux on their own label: Spacejam Records distributed by Suburban.
Saturday October 10th the band presents their new album in a
multi-disciplinair cultutral setting in Groene Engel, inviting some of their best friends/artists stemming all from their hometown Oss.
Conceptual Artist Willum Geerts, Visual Artist Jerome Siegelaer and developer of kinetic art objects Rob Zimmermann will all join the party.
Also appearing that evening is singer/song writer Duffhües with his string quartet and their stoner/grunge friends of Zeus who will join them to perform the incredible mash-up composition Zero together on stage!!
Last but not least Walter H., Mr. Roadburn himself, is coming to spin the wheels of steel and is providing the band with stunning visuals as well.

Occult rockers The Devil's Blood have just released their debut album 'The Time Of No Time Evermore' on German cult label Van Records. In the first week the album went straight into the German Top 100 Album Charts on number 62. September 25th the band will present their album for the first time in Vera-Groningen with satanic-death-grinders NOX as support act.
Altar Of Plagues
Irish post-black avantgardist Altar of Plagues will perform at the famous Incubate Festival in Tilburg. Their show starts 23:15 in Extase.
On Saturday September 19th the band will support one of German's finest BM acts Secrets of the Moon in Baroeg / Rotterdam.

Saturday September 12th German math-stoner-noise duo Dÿse will perform around midnight in Patronaat during the
Stad Als Podium Festival in Haarlem. On several locations in town you can see bands like Kyteman, the Veils, Bonaparte and De Kift to name just a few.

Bloody Bloody Weekend?
For lovers of psychedelic rock, stoner, doom, sludge there is every summer the Stoned From the Underground Festival held near the city of Erfurt in Germany. This year The Devil's Blood will headline the Friday evening July 10th with their infamous 'Ritual'.
One day later July 11th The Devil's Blood will appear late in the evening as special guests at the new metal festival FortaRock which will be held@ park near the Radboud university campsite in Nijmegen !Other bands on the very strong billing are Death Angel, Satyricon, Moonspell and many others.

The Devil's Blood cancellation!
The Devil's Blood had to cancel their announced show in Cologne as support of the mighty St. Vitus. here is the official statement of band leader SL.
It is with great personal regret that I inform you that The Devil's Blood will not be able to perform their Cologne Ritual in support of St Vitus this coming Monday the 27Th of April.
Due to a throat infection our singer F. is unable to continue with this performance. The singer has been recently plagued with a bad cold which impaired her vocal chords significantly and the show on Roadburn was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. We are extremely indebted to all people involved with organising the Ritual in Cologne and feel extremely bad about this decision. However, with the Cult being engrossed in the recordings of its first full length album we dare not stress the situation further and must make this unfortunate decision that comes at the worst of times.

Yep, the violin will be present but the band will play a loud and devastating amplified show like they did at Summerbreeze Festival. Support act is Mely, also hailing from Austria.

Blisstrain Revisited !
Exile On Mainstream Records, a kind of German equivalent of Mike Patton's Ipecac Label, will return to w2 in Den Bosch with their wonderful concept from last year. 5 experimental noise-post-avantgarde rock bands presenting their latest material in a caroussel kind of set up.
No change overs, just live music from the some of the finest tunes around. Blisstrain involves EOM currently most active bands, who will share two stages and play own sets as well as some collaborations since all these bands know each other well enough now. BLISSTRAIN connects sounds and emotions and creates unique constellations of musicians and artists. We are aiming to connect scenes and styles and we expect results as stunning as unforeseeable from these collaborations, possible failure included. Every show is a non-recurring, unique experience. US Eco black metallists Wolves In The Throne Room are hitting the stage of w2 Friday February 20th. The band is at the moment on tour in Europe to promote their new EP 'Malevolent Grain' and their Live @ Roadburn 2008 album. Meanwhile WITTR has been confirmed for Waldrock, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting and Roskilde Festival..
Support act is the best kept secret of the Netherlands, The Devil's Blood, at least in Holland the band is still pretty unknown contrary to other areas in Europe where the release of their EP 'Come Reap' has led to an enormous buzz.
The whole (d)evilish black metal scene seems to adore the satanic proto metal of this mysterious band. Darkthrone, Satyricon, Watain are among their biggest fans. Between 00:20 and 00:30 it will be broadcasted at 3FM (national radio) and the second part of their gig from 00:30-00:50 can be watched at 3voor12 digital television. Before the show the band will be interviewed by Erik Corton.
One of the coolest rock evenings in Holland with as usual
3 very fine heavy rockbands on the billing. This edition the focus lies on catchy 70's inspired rock songs with a twist.
Opener Hooghwater is without any doubt one of the best newcomers in Holland. Their mini album got so many great reviews that we can speak of a truly sensation. We can expect a full length full of 60's garage, 70's rock with a rough Washington DC sound. A sound very appealing for every cult seeker.

Expect..the unexpected because The Liszt, Oceana Company, Gomer Pyle and Flying Fortress will not only play their regular setlist but will also focus on acoustic sessions, jamsessions and covers.

Brant Bjork & The Bros: Punk Rock Guilt Tour
The Bob Marley of stoner, founder of Kyuss, is since the beginning of the new Milennium very succesful as solo-artist and band leader/composer of his rock gang ' The Bros'. Every album has a very distinguished, though very recognizable sound. Sometmes catchy, like on albums ' Brant Bjork & The Operators' or 'Somera Sol', funky on ' Keep Your Cool', relaxed jammi'g with band on 'Saved By Magic' or extremely groovy on his debut album 'Jalamanta'. This year Brant released 'Punk Rock Guilt'..an album which goes back to the punk roots, but combined with his sound of the early Jalamanta days. He will visit Europe ith a complete renewed and fresh, young band that will definitely fit with the raw vibe of the album.
